Aaron Kreye – Principal

Aaron Kreye brings more than 16 years of international experience in the field of corporate investmentbanking and wealth management. Throughout his career Mr. Kreye has demonstrated ingenuity instructuring unique transactions and strong financial acumen in identifying, researching, and closing investment opportunities in both public and private markets. His vision is to provide full service investment banking and asset management services in the emerging growth and middle markets with honesty and integrity. We believe we have met this vision with KreyePartners, LLC offerings.  Prior to the formation of Kreye Partners, LLC, Mr. Kreye was a CFO for a Southeastern Airline where he successfully negotiated work out strategies for over $10 million in asset backed debt; and managed interest rate, commodity, foreign exchange and loss exposures.  Mr. Kreye holds a NASD Series 65 license. He earned his Masters in Business Administration degree from Thunderbird, The American Graduate School for International Business specializing in finance, real option theory, and new venture strategy / valuation. While at Thunderbird, he served as Professors Assistant for advanced level finance course and won the financial risk management simulation held among finance peers. Mr. Kreye earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in international economics from Furman University.

James Patterson – Director, Asset Acquisition

James C. Patterson serves as Director of Asset Acquisition for Kreye Partners. He received his BA degree with distinction in 1972 from the University of Virginia in just three years where he participated in the Echols Scholars Program, was named to Phi Beta Kappa and he served as President of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. In 1975, Mr. Patterson received his JD degree from Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana. Mr. Patterson has been a licensed attorney in Florida for almost 40 years and also holds licenses to practice law in Indiana, Illinoisand the Middle District of Florida federal court. Mr. Patterson has served as General Counsel toa number of corporations including Whiteco Industries, Inc. of Merrillville, Indiana, Heinold Commodities, Inc. of Chicago, Illinois (where he participated in the creation of the very first commodity pool offering and he served on the Executive Committee of the Law and Compliance Division of the Futures Industry Association) and to Expert Insight LLC of Miami, Florida. For many years, Mr. Patterson also served as Managing Partner for his own law firm in Chicago, Illinois where his practice focused on the creation of a variety of private and public offerings and trading funds, general corporate and corporate transactional work and providing expert testimony to major U.S. brokerage firms in civil trials. Mr. Patterson also possesses an excellent working knowledge of the German language, and he has assisted on a number of major German litigation projects for large U.S. law firms such as Jones Day of Houston, TX,Wilson Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati of Austin, TX and LeClair Ryan of Richmond, VA. Mr. Patterson taught Business Law at Purdue University and at Keller Graduate School of Management.

Dan Krueger – Debt Restructuring and M&A

Dan Krueger is the manager of Debt Restructuring and M&A at Kreye Partners, LLC. Prior to joining Kreye Partners, LLC in 2013 Dan was General Partner of Raquette Hydro Power, a Limited Liability Partnership that owned and operated two hydroelectric facilities in upstate NY. During his tenure as General Partner Dan successfully restructured the partnership’s debt that resulted in the successful sale of the facilities to Brookfield Power. Prior to serving as General Partner at Raquette Danwas the Manager of Business Administration for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While at the Bucs Dan wasin charge of all the teams purchasing, budgeting and financial forecasting. Dan was with the team when they won their first Super Bowl in 2002. Dan graduated from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY with a Master of Business Administration in 1995. While at Clarkson Dan served as a Professors Assistant for the Operations Management and Statistics department.

Bill Baxter- Real Property

Bill Baxter joined Kreye Partners, LLC in 2011 managing our Real Property and Hard Money Lending investments. Bill has over 25 years’ experience in Mortgage and Loan Origination, Underwriting, Administration and Collections. Prior to Kreye Partners Bill owned a mortgage originator managing 15 sales representatives. Having a likable personality and excellent listening skills, he is able to acutely analyze a current financial position to firmly enter into a mutually beneficial resolution. Bill studied Finance at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis at the IU Kelley School of Business. Bill volunteers in the Pinellas County Library Literacy Programs teaching English as a second language to students from Asian Cultures.
